How much freezer space will you need?
The general rule is 28 pounds of meat per cubic foot of freezer space. We recommend you invest in a 14 cubic foot freezer for a half-cow purchase. Your meat will stay fresh for more than a year.

Final Cost
Every animal is different, so these prices will vary based on the weight.
The cost ends up being $9 per pound of finished beef, and each half yields approximately 150 pounds of finished beef.
As an example, buying one-quarter of a 1,200-pound cow would cost:
$1350 total for approximately 150 pounds of finished beef, or $9 per pound.

When we reach out to you, we’ll coordinate a time for an in-person delivery. At the agreed upon delivery date + time, we’ll bring your beef order, chilled, with all the various cuts wrapped individually in paper and labeled. Cash or Check Payment for the remainder will be collected at this time.
